Alexander Konychev completes 15-man squad!
Team Vorarlberg has strengthened its squad once again. The 25-year-old Italian Alexander Konychev has now joined the squad of 15 riders. Konychev, son of the well-known and equally successful Dimitri Konychev, will join the team next week in Rhodes.
From 2019 to 2022, he was under contract with the World Tour teams of Dimension-Data, Mitchelton-Scott and Team BikeExchange-Jayco. Last year, the likeable Italian, who is at home near Lake Garda, was part of the Corratec-Selle Italia UCI Pro Team.
Classics specialist with some qualities
He finished eighth in the GP Vorarlberg UCI 1.2 before starting in the Giro d Italia. He has already achieved numerous podium finishes in UCI races, as well as fifth place in the 2021 Italian Pro Championships. Konychev clocked up a total of 13,383 kilometers of racing last year. He is also a strong time trialist.

Next stop RHODOS!
From next week, the entire Team Vorarlberg will be setting up camp in Rhodes for a joint training camp. Two UCI tours are also on the program, as well as two one-day races.
