Colin Stüssi wins the 3rd International Race in Schönberg (GER) in commanding style – Lukas Rüegg in fifth place

It was another great cycling festival that was celebrated today, Sunday, in Schönberg, Bavaria. The third cycling race over 90 challenging laps (63 kilometers) was once again packed with criterium specialists.

Team Vorarlberg turns on the gas – Colin Stüssi goes solo!

There was only one recipe against the German sprint specialists. To make the race as difficult as possible right from the start on the difficult lap. A Vorarlberg pro constantly attacked until a group could break away. Amann, Meiler and Rüegg were the men for the final, but Colin Stüssi started 30 laps before the end – and he was never seen again. He won solo 37 seconds ahead of the German Lucas Carstensen (Team Roojai Insurance), a multiple UCI race winner, and the German Jonas Schmeisser (RSC Brosch Kempten).

Lukas Rüegg in fifth place, Nikolas Riegler (7th) and Lukas Meiler (9th) completed the top team result!

The race was organized by the two long-standing team sponsors Toni Jung, the Alsace baker, and Dominik Dietrich (Hairstyling Dietrich). The friendly partnership with Team Vorarlberg has now lasted ten years!

Next race: 26.05. Rund um Köln (GER / UCI 1.1) – It is already the 106th edition of the German Cycling Classic race!
