YES! Jannis Peter wins the final stage and finishes second overall in the Int. Oberösterreich Rundfahrt UCI 2.2 – Felix Stehli secures the next UCI Gravel World Series podium for Team Vorarlberg with third place in Aachen!
Now the Team Vorarlberg engine is humming! The 24-year-old German Jannis Peter wins the queen stage of the 16th International Tour of Upper Austria from St. Florian over 132 kilometers to Hinterstoder on the Hutterer Höss in impressive style, ahead of the overall Tour winner David Edgar Gadena from Mexico. Third, eleven seconds behind, was the Italian Mattia Gaffuri (Team Swatt). Colin Stüssi had a mediocre day today and still finished seventh!
Biggest success for Jannis Peter with stage win and second place overall!
With the biggest success in Jannis Peter’s young career, he improved to second place in the overall standings behind the Mexican rider of the same age, 24 seconds behind.
Statement from Jannis Peter: “Everything was perfect today. We were wide awake as a team. I was able to attack five kilometers before the finish and then again at the two-kilometer mark. That did the trick. I’m super happy about my biggest success to date. Now we’re looking forward to the next few weeks that await us!”
Colin Stüssi finishes the tour in sixth place (+1min 16sec). Emanuel Zangerle finishes 21st, Lukas Meiler 37th. A strong performance from the whole team in the last few days, which is reflected as the second best team of the Tour!

Kilian Feurstein with a strong performance for the national team in the Czech Republic – Laurin Nenning gets a taste of the podium in Germany!
With 17th place on the fourth and final stage of the Course de la Paix UCI 2.2 in the Czech Republic, 21-year-old Kilian Feurstein from Vorarlberg completes the best Team Vorarlberg weekend this season. As the best Austrian, he finished 46th in the four-stage tour with a top field. A promise for the future. Just like 20-year-old Laurin Nenning. Yesterday he finished second in a stage of a national elite series race in Marktdorf, Germany!
