Team Vorarlberg with an active second stage at the Istrian Spring Trohphy UCI 2.2

Colin Stüssi was the man in the peloton today who tried to initiate a group right from the start. After 50 kilometers of the second stage from Novigrad to Motovun (131 kilometers) it worked. Stüssi was able to break away with some of his rivals. However, the group is dropped again before the finish. In the final, the German Jannis Peter finished 25th, 31 seconds behind the winner Adria Perica (SPA – UAE Emirates Z).

“It didn’t take much today for me to be right at the front. However, my legs gave out in the final. Nevertheless, we implemented the tactics today and we were super active in the race!” said Jannis Peter

The final stage on Sunday ends after 125 kilometers in Umag.
