AND AGAIN rocked the gravel!

6 juli 2025 –

AND AGAIN rocked the gravel! Felix Stehli in third place at the UCI Gravel World Series in Hegau – Kilian Feurstein fourth at the Austrian U23 Championships!

No calm before the storm for Team Vorarlberg! Before the start of the Tour of Austria next Wednesday in Steyr, the four-country championships for the U23 category took place today in Hollenstein, as well as the next race of the UCI Gravel World Series in Hegau (GER).

Next UCI Gravel World Series podium for Felix Stehli – Daniel Geismayr in fourth place!
It was clear for Felix Stehli today. More points for the UCI ranking list in the Gravel World Series. Before today’s race, the Swiss rider was in fourth place. Another final Tour of Austria test for Daniel Geismayr today. But gravel is also his world. Felix Stehli secured his next podium in the super-difficult race (not a single meter flat) over 108 kilometers with a top-class line-up.

Despite a crash four kilometers before the finish, he finished an excellent third. Just behind him, Daniel Geismayr sprinted to fourth place! Another incredible result for Team Vorarlberg.

The winner is World Cup leader Loman Mathijs (NED / Swatt Club) ahead of Red Bull BORA hansgrohe pro Jonas Koch (GER).

Stehli is now currently third in the UCI World Series overall standings!

Kilian Feurstein just misses the podium at the U23 ÖM – Laurin Nenning in eighth place!
A national U23 starting field from four nations (AUT, GER, SUI, LUX). Numerous pros from the World Tour and development teams left their mark on the 156-kilometer race in hot weather right from the start. However, the rookies from Team Vorarlberg Kilian Feurstein and Laurin Nenning did extremely well.

Kilian Feurstein finished fourth in the Austrian classification. The 22-year-old was just six seconds off the bronze medal. His top speed in the race was 106 km/h. Just behind him in eighth place was 20-year-old Laurin Nenning. He also showed a very good race. A promise for the future for both youngsters!
