Team Vorarlberg attacks – Konychev scrapes past the podium
Without a special sprinter in the team, they wanted to try beforehand. Alexander Konychev and Moran Vermeulen attacked again and again on the final laps. However, all attacks were thwarted by the competition.
In the sprint of the entire field, there was not much missing on the podium today. Alexander Konychev finished sixth today. The winner was the Norwegian Anton Standsby (Coop-Repsol) ahead of the Australian Liam Walsh (Bridgelane).
“I didn’t have the best position on the last meters, otherwise it could have worked today. Nevertheless, we rode very openly and actively today. That’s how we’ll do it tomorrow too.” Alexander Konychev’s statement
